about

Written during the height of the war on terror. This is Eddie's battle anthem.

lyrics

Take a look into the setting sun,
Red sky means the battle has begun.
Don't cry; this is no time to weep.
Our brave soldiers - our safety they will keep.

The power of pride - we'll put it to the test.
It takes love! We'll try; we'll do our best.
The terrorists are trying to steal our land.
But don't fear; we've drawn a line in the sand!

We're fighting for freedom!
USA!
From Iraq to Antietam!

Dragons' hearts, and courage like a lion's
Our brave soldiers make the terrorists keep on dying
Make the sand run red like the stripes on the flag
Bring home Hussein's severed head in a bag.

No rest, no comfort, no aid to our foes.
We'll live to see the evil regime's death throes.
No rest, no comfort, no aid to our foes.
Sorry Osama. Mess with us? That's the way it goes.

Meld the power of bands like Metallica with a bit of the sensitivity of bands like Nickelback.

When he met like-minded rockers Brandon, Phil, and Lars, he did more. He forged a band that rocks harder than any alloy from the steel mill.

He forged Steel Maverick.
